I go constantly to this restaurant because the prices are very reasonable and waiters are so polite and always come and check to make sure you have everything or anything you might need. I rate them top rate.
Pizza the way I like it. Fresh & fast. Sauce on point. The Chicken Parm is also a must.
Vesuvio is the best place in Brooklyn to get amazing food. Everthing They make is absolutely delicious. Everyone there treats you like family. When you eat at Vesuvio you feel like your eating at home with everyone you love. My family and I have been going there for years. We love everyone . We even have all our events in the party room. If you want a great party look no further. The food , the service truly amazing.I call Vesuvio my home away from home, my happy place. Please go at least once . You will not be sorry . Was here a few weeks ago for a pharmacy dinner. They brought out calamari, salad, and fried zucchini. There was steak, chicken, fish, and veggies options for entrees. And then a dessert. Food was great and the service was also great.
When i lived in brooklyn, i frequented vesuvios and the food was amazing back then. (11 yrs ago) I have popped in from time to time and have never been disappointed. 1- The staff is amazing, they are friendly, caring and are a great bunch of people. Leo was awesome the last 2 times we went. The hostess and the gentleman behind the counter who always has an awesome hat on are great as well. 2- the food, man o man, i have been to very few places that the food has stood consistent for 11 years. No matter what we order, the food is delicious and fresh. From a seafood and pasta dish to a slice of pizza. 3- the affogato was amazing, the deserts were delicious. Def a must try!!
Cozy Italian food in the heart of bay ridge. My go to spot after a long day of work for a nice dinner with friends. The watermelon margaritas were fruity and delicious. The appetizers were tasteful. The calamari was super crunchy! The penne ziti was delicious. I haven't had one like this before! The servers are very attentive and helpful always suggesting a good item off the menu to try!
I always love the food here. Pizza, pasta, or a classic chicken parm on a hero always hits. My family always comes here to eat. Even ordering catered food from here is great. Always a reliable place to get food for catering if you have a party. The restaurant has a formal dining and a front section where you can sit and just grab a slice. It's almost has the atmosphere of a formal restaurant and also a classic neighborhood pizzeria. The servers are always nice and helpful. Always checking up on you during dinner. It feels very family friendly
This was my 2nd visit to Vesuvio. Each time I go I love it more and more! We're visiting Brooklyn, from California. We make a stop at the restaurant because we know we'll get some great food in a nice, local Italian restaurant. Dishes are prepared perfectly and service is always excellent!! We ordered the octopus salad tonight (pictured). All excellent!! Belle was our waitress tonight. She's so nice and did a great job!! So attentive and friendly. Restaurant patrons all seem like locals--a plus for me! The neighborhood is safe. Parking mat be a problem sometimes. I highly recommend Vesuvio for any reason at all!!
Excellent Italian restaurant!! The food here was top notch from start to finish. The best thing about this restaurant is the portion sizes. They are huge. You are truly getting what you pay for. We started with the hot antipasto and fried calamari. They were both fresh and delicious. I had the toscana pasta and it was delicious. The toasted breadcrumb, broccoli rabe, and shrimp combo is a favorite of mine and this didn't miss. And I had enough for two lunches afterward lol what could be better than that. Can't wait to come back.
